Learn Rust Easily ("the app") is an educational app for learning the Rust programming language. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
Your learning progress (completed lessons, quiz scores, XP, coins, streak, farm-game state, and settings) is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
When you run code in the playground or a lesson project, the code snippet you wrote is sent to the official Rust Playground (play.rust-lang.org, operated by the Rust project) for compilation, and the result is returned to you. Only the code text is sent โ no account information, identifiers, or personal data. See the Rust Foundation privacy policy for how that service handles requests.
The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase state (unlocked / not unlocked) is kept on your device and with your Google Play account, which also enables restoring the purchase on a new device.
The app is suitable for a general audience, collects no personal data from any user, and contains no ads or social features.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if features requiring data are added), the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
